Introducing the Lucky Rabbit Collection, inspired (and designed with) Emily Chu! Emily Chu is a Chinese artist based on Treaty 6 (Edmonton, AB). Emily’s work flows between commercial illustration, visual arts, and murals. She is also the co-organizer of Chinatown Greetings, an artist initiated community-arts project in Edmonton’s Chinatown. “This rabbit botanical pattern was created to celebrate this lunar year of the rabbit, but also to recognize these gentle and resilient creatures in our backyards, prairies, and ravines. One of the luckiest animals in Chinese culture, rabbits also symbolize longevity and peace.” -Emily Chu
