The Flora collection is a footwear collaboration between Kunitz Shoes and 3 Edmonton based women artists. Focused on the flowers, trees and plants that inspire us, this collection of custom designed footwear seeks to lighten each step and add some beauty to your everyday life. Designed in YEG and manufactured in Turkey. Larissa Poho is a multidisciplinary performer, theatre-maker, visual artist and tattooist. Her work thrives on collaboration, and often merges contemporary aesthetic with folkloric inspiration. The Summer Paintbrush design is a reflection of Larissa’s recent art deco inspired tattoo work as well as an exploration of traditional leather engraving. The outcome is a wonderful embellishment of the Scarlet Paintbrush that blooms in our mountains and valleys through the summer. Stumbling upon Scarlet Paintbrush is always such a beautiful surprise.
